MIDDLE SCHOOL: Sanford Middle School is committed to doing whatever it takes to provide a supportive and academically challenging experience for all students. Sanford parents are active and supportive members of our school community. Students loop on a team with the same group of students throughout their three years at Sanford. Looping builds strong and caring relationships within teams that include four teachers (English, Math, Science and Social Studies). English and Social Studies teachers loop all 3 years with students. Arts, World Language, PE/Health and Design are an integral part of our curriculum, providing a solid foundation for college-preparatory high school programs, including Roosevelt High School's International Baccalaureate (IB) program and South High School's Liberal Arts program.
EXTENDED-DAY ACTIVITIES: At different times of the year we offer the following activities: Video game creation, cheerleading, Anime, science exploration, Everyday Leaders, Improv, band studio, world video, chess, homework help, program assistant, coffee cart business, glee club, Inside/ Out Dance, Global Quest.
